A letter from our living room

It started with a simple need.

I was looking for a straightforward way to journal my trades—something that could help me track what I was doing right and where I kept making mistakes.

Most tools I found were either too complex with features I'd never use, or too expensive for what they offered. Some didn't even support Indian brokers. So I ended up building a simple tool for myself.

Then something unexpected happened.

I showed it to a few family friends who also traded, and they loved it. They started asking for features, pointing out bugs, and genuinely using it every day. That's when I realized—maybe this wasn't just for me.

In April 2025, we decided to launch JournalPlus publicly. My wife Alnisha joined to help with operations and customer experience, and together we've been building this from our living room in Mumbai.

Our mission is simple: make trade journaling effortless, so you can focus on what matters—becoming a better trader.

We are a husband and wife team who care deeply about simplicity and design.

Javed focuses on product and growth. Alnisha brings empathy, design, and user experience to life.
